Randal lives off-grid aboard a Leopard 46 catamaran with his family, blending maritime adventure with cutting-edge design. Whether he’s writing at sunrise, prototyping autonomous systems in the galley, or teaching his son survival skills and AI basics, every day is an experiment in resilience, curiosity, and creativity.

Originally from California, Randal’s trajectory shifted dramatically in 2020 after surviving a near-fatal car accident. The experience became a catalyst for deeper introspection and a lifelong pursuit of purpose through innovation, philosophy, and real-world adventure. It pushed him to question everything—from ancient creation myths to the future of technology—and to live life on his own terms.
